President’s Letter

behalf of the staff, Board of Directors, and volunteers, welcome to the
Community Foundation of the Virginias. The Community Foundation is dedicated to
meeting needs in Mercer and Tazewell County communities through the generosity
of our donors. Your contributions make it possible to support education, the
arts, recreation, and health and human services through annual grants and
college scholarships.
We welcome the opportunity to help you explore ways to meet your philanthropic goals through charitable giving. Gifts of time and professional skills are also needed in support of our ongoing effort to improve the quality of life for everyone in our area.
We are fortunate to live in an extraordinarily generous community and we are grateful for the contributions that have made this foundation possible. Thank you for your ongoing support, which is vital to ensure the vision continues for future generations.
