The Board of Directors of the Community Foundation of the Virginias, Inc. has approved 41 applications for Grant Awards totaling more than $186,277.

An additional $35,800 Community Impact Project grant was awarded to the City of Bluefield, West Virginia Fire Department for work on Station 3 on Cumberland Road.





The Community Foundation Board of Directors met in May and voted to approve scholarship recommendations for 2020. One hundred fifty-three awards were made from 38 separate funds, totaling more than $284,000.
